So many times, we are yearning for closeness and for others to see our strengths rather than our shortcoming’s. The painting of men in a tallit with their lulavim standing in prayer reminds us of our need for closeness – to G-d and to others.
it’s only through the collective acceptance of one another, our ability to look beyond where others lack and see where we intersect, that we “elevate” Hashem. We don’t need uniformity, but we do need unity. We are all better united than divided. Original is 12”x36” framed.
