Eliyahu’s Ascension

It’s the image of the prophet Elijah ascending to heaven in a fiery chariot.  He was one of very few to have perfected himself to such a degree that he was permitted to enter Heaven during his lifetime. As a result, Elijah became part human and part angel.  This painting has a wonderful ethereal feeling and is highly textured.  Original is 3 ft. by 3 ft.
